Ramon Garcia

September 24, 1931 — July 21, 2021

Ramon P. "Monchie" Garcia left us to be in the loving arms of his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on July 21, 2021, at the age of 89. He was born on Sept. 24, 1931, in Ft Stockton to Feliciano Nunez Garcia and Eglentina Pacheco.
Ramon attended Ft Stockton schools and was a life-long Ft Stockton resident.
In April 1951 Ramon enlisted in the US Army and served until April 1953 after which he served in the reserve for 2 more years.
Upon his return, he married his sweetheart, Angelina Bueno, in 1954 and was blessed with four children. Ramon was a very loving, caring, and compassionate man. He loved his family fiercely and encouraged and supported them in all their endeavors. Ramon was active in the school PTA, Boy Scouts, and various community and church events. He took great joy being the family videographer as his children grew and had families of their own. He could be found attending all his grandchildren's activities and family events - always with his video camera in hand.
Throughout the years he worked at White Auto Store, American National Insurance Company and Firestone Testing Center.
Ramon is preceded in death by his wife of 49 wonderful years, Angelina Bueno Garcia, parents Feliciano and Eglentina, sister Lucila Gonzalez, brothers Joe Sosa, and Daniel Sanchez.
Ramon is survived by his children Cordelia Ann and Augustin Velasquez Jr. of Fort Stockton, Guillermo Arvey Garcia and Elizabeth Rojo of Miami, Fl., Israel Alonzo and Gilda Garcia of Miami, Fl., and Maria C. O'Bryant of Alpine, Tx.
