Manuel P. Martinez (Manny) entered rest on October 7, 2020. He was born on August 24, 1946 in Fort Stockton, Texas to Jose and Maria Martinez.
Manny graduated from Fort Stockton High School with the class of 1969. He worked at the Bridgestone Firestone Test Track for over 20 years.
Manny is survived by his wife Guadalupe Martinez; children Manuel Martinez, Jr. (Belie) of Midland, Jimmy Martinez (Dora) of Midland, Sammy Martinez of San Antonio, Eddie Martinez (Mari) of San Antonio, and Cindy Munoz (Peter) of Fort Stockton; brother Jose (Joe) Martinez; and fifteen grandchildren.
Preceding him in death were his parents and brother, Juan P. Martinez, and sister Margaret Macintosh.
Visitation will be held from 1-4PM at Heritage Funeral Home on Thursday, October 8, 2020. Rosary will be held at Our Lady of Guadalupe, Downtown Campus, at 9AM, on Friday, October 9, with services to start at 10AM. Burial will be in the Catholic Cemetery. Due to the Coronavirus, our occupancy is limited at all locations.
