Robert Robertson

Robert “Bob” Henderson Robertson gained his heavenly wings at the tender age of 76 on December 31, 2022, at his home in Fort Stockton, Texas. A visitation will be held January 3rd, 2023, at Heritage Funeral Home of the Big Bend, 301 N Main Fort Stockton, Texas from 1pm to 7pm. Cremation will follow per his wishes.

Bob spent time serving his country in the Navy, as well as being a welder for many years.  He always looked forward to his daily coffee talks with his lifelong friends.  He also loved the drag race his Chevy Nova in his early years, as well as attend when not participating.  Bob will always be remembered for the crazy pranks he played on everyone and his witty sense of humor, which will be greatly missed.

Robert was born on March 22, 1946, in Abilene, Texas. He was adopted 5 days later by Earle Augustus Robertson and Myrtle Price Robertson. Bob is preceded in death by his parents, his first born daughter Tammy Dawn Robertson, brother Don Robertson and stepson William Lloyd Dulaney. Bob is survived by his wife of 30 years Leda Dulaney; son Darrell Robertson (Lori), daughters Renai Rios (Jason), Sherena DeShawn Ramirez, former son-in-law Celedonio (Dino) Ramirez Jr., whom he loved as his own; stepchildren Tanya Akeley (Chuck), Raymond Charles Dulaney (Penny), John Dee Dulaney (Jackie); grandchildren Sean, Ashley Baker (Clem), Amber Ramirez (Yesenia), Robert Ramirez (Damani), Bec Burriola (Jay), Brianna Brown (Ben), Caden Rios, Cole Rios, Case Rios, Rachel Barrett (Josh), Courtney Dulaney, Andrea Dulaney, and Emily Cooper (Matthew); great grandchildren Cade Baker, Emery Baker, Camyrn Jo Baker, and Brady Robertson Brown, named after his Pawpaw, who is due to be here in June 2023.

He was the most kind-hearted and selfless man you would ever meet, and is already greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
