Pedro Ureste

Pedro Rivera Ureste, 74, of Fort Stockton, TX, passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 13, 2022.

Pedro was born in Boquillas, Coahuila, Mexico to Nestor Gallegos Ureste and Engracia Ortiz Rivera on April 29, 1947.  Pedro married his beautiful wife Maria del Refugio Chavez Tapia and together they had 2 children.  Pedro moved his family to the Marathon, Texas area later settling in Fort Stockton, Texas.  Pedro worked with livestock at an early age and continued to work on area ranches.  Pedro became disabled after being thrown from a horse.

Pedro is preceded in death by his wife Maria del Refugio Chavez Tapia.

Pedro is survived by his son Pedro M. Ureste and wife Marya of Fort Stockton, Texas, and daughter Amabilia Ureste, brother Oscar Ureste and sister Librada Ureste.  Pedro also leaves behind 5 grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
