Juan Sanchez

June 12, 1933 — February 17, 2021

Juan Reyna Sanchez entered into rest on February 17, 2021. He was born on July 8, 1932, to Rumaldo and Maria Sanchez.
Juan served in the U.S. Army and was Specialist 4th Class. He was stationed at Fort Dill, Oklahoma, before settling down in Fort Stockton with his wife of 51 years, Rita Franco. While Juan never had children of his own, he was a father figure to many. Juan was also an active member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish in Fort Stockton and spent his free time tending to his garden which he shared with his family and friends. He will always be remembered for his big heart and fun spirit.
Juan is preceded in death by his parents, Rumaldo and Maria Sanchez; first wife, Rita Franco.
Juan is survived by his wife, Sandra Yvette; brother, Joe Sanchez of Seguin.
The visitation will be held from 2-4pm on Monday, February 24, 2021, at Heritage Funeral Home. The funeral mass will be at 10am on Thursday, February 25, 2021, at Our Lady of Guadalupe Downtown Campus. Burial will follow at Fort Stockton Catholic Cemetery.
