Evangelina Hernandez, entered rest at her residence in Fort Stockton, on Tuesday, June 23rd, at the age of 80. She was born October 27th, 1939 to David and Elodia Fierro in Alpine, Texas.
She is survived by her husband, Manuel T. Hernandez of Fort Stockton; son Larry Hernandez of Midland, Texas; daughter Sylvia Yanez and husband Frank, of Fort Stockton; brother Monsignor David Fierro of El Paso, Texas; grandchildren Iliana Yanez, Javier Yanez, Orlando Yanez, and David Yanez; great grandchildren Joshua, Austin, and Ethan Yanez.
She was proceeded in death by her parents David and Elodia Fierro; daughter Norma Jean Hernandez; and brother Fred Fierro.
Evangelina was a homemaker and a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish, Downtown Location, Fort Stockton, Texas.
A private service will be held at Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church in Alpine, Texas.
