Concepcion (Concha) Nunez passed away on Thursday, July 16, 2020. Concha was born on January 3, 1933 and was a life-long resident of Fort Stockton. She and her husband, Chon, were married for 65 years. They owned and operated Nuñez Grocery for several years before their retirement. Concha’s greatest joy was spending time with her children and grandchildren.
Concha is preceded in death by her father, Martin Quintela, her mother, Tomasita Quintela and her brother Pablo Quintela. She is survived by husband, Chon Nuñez; sons, Joe Martin Nunez (wife, Mickie), Raymond Nunez (wife, JoAnn) and Chon Nunez Jr. (wife, Nellie); 6 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.
Private services will be held by the family.
