Alicia Hernandez Arcides, 90 years old, of Fort Stockton passed away on September 23, 2021, in Fort Stockton, Texas.
Alicia was born in Fort Stockton to Jose L. Hernandez and Rumalda C. Rodriguez on September 29, 1930. She married Adan D. Arcides on June 29,1951 in Fort Stockton, Texas. As a devout Catholic and committed wife and mother of five, she touched the lives of her family and community.
Alicia is preceded in death by her parents, Jose L. Hernandez and Rumalda C. Rodriguez and her siblings, Abel Hernandez, Lillian Castillo, and Joe Hernandez.
Alicia is survived by her spouse Adan D. Arcides, her children Aldo Arcides, Alva Ybarra, Adan Jr. and his wife, Debbie Arcides, Auden Arcides, and Adrian and his wife, Stefanie M. Arcides, 12 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Johnny Rae Gonzalez, Fidel Cardona, Billy Jean Irwin, Jeffrey Arcides, Christian Arcides, Jonathan Arcides, and David Barrientos.

Rosary followed by the mass will start at 9 a.m. on September 29, 2021, at Saint Joseph's Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Saint Joseph's Cemetery. Arrangements are by Heritage Funeral Home.
