Wanda Rose

Wanda Nell Rose, age 84, passed away on Tuesday, August 19, 2014 in Casa Grande Arizona. She was born on February 18, 1930 to Oscar and Alma Poe in Dime Box, Texas. She was a member of the Lavender Ladies and was a board member of the Fort Stockton Senior Citizens Center. She was a loving mother and grandmother and showered every one with love with her kindness and cooking.

Mrs. Rose is survived by her, two sons Jimmy Wayne Kelso and wife Dianna, Larry Don Kelso and wife Anne brother Don Poe sister Debbie Kennedy nine grandchildren, Jackie, Oscar, J.W., Tim, Shane, Barri, Amanda, Terri, Amy and sixteen great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Oscar and Alma Poe husband James Rose brothers, Albert Poe, Tommy Poe, Tyman Poe, Robert Allen Poe.

A visitation took place at Heritage Funeral Home from 6:00 pm. 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 26, 2014. A Funeral service will take place Wednesday, August 26, 2014 at 11am at North Side Baptist Church in Fort Stockton. Burial will be Thursday, August 28, 2014 at 2pm at Dilley Cemetery in Dilley, Texas.
