Ron Nolen

Ronald Gerald Nolen passed away Tuesday, February 4, 2014 at the age of 75. Ron was born on October 13, 1938. His parents were Valdon E. and Barbara Mae Nolen. He and Dorothy Hearn Nolen were married on June 21, 1980 in Wichita Falls, Texas. He has owned and operated Nolen Pharmacy in Fort Stockton since he moved here 42 years ago. Ron was known for his great love for God, his family, and his church family at Northside Baptist Church. He enjoyed hunting, camping and all outdoor activities , and he loved collecting antique firearms. He was also renowned for his impromptu practical jokes.
Mr. Nolen is survived by Dorothy, his wife of 33 years son Breck Nolen and wife Beatsy daughters, Valerie Rose and husband Drew Ronda Jones Tiffani Hester and husband David sister Elaine Bond and husband Ed grandchildren Eric Jones, Courtney Jones, Camille Jones, Taylor Nolen, Stratton Nolen, Nolen Hester, Holden Hester and Hayden Hester nieces and nephews, Eric Spruiell and wife Jessica and Emily Reece and husband Sam.

There will be a service celebrating Rons life at the Pecos County Civic Center in Fort Stockton on Friday, February 7, 2014 at 2 p.m.
