Robert Walker

Robert "Bob" Walker of Fort Stockton passed away Tuesday, December 12, 2017, in Fort Stockton at the age of 68 years. He was born on February 28, 1949, in Fort Stockton, Texas, to Benny Walker and Jane Holliday.
He graduated Sul Ross State University with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. He was a jovial man who enjoyed outdoor activities including fishing, hunting, ranching, and camping. Robert was a loving and sensitive guy who raised boer goats and angus cows. He was also an all-around engineer and charismatic fellow.
Robert is survived by his son, Jamil Walker; his daughters, Danika Walker, Ashia Walker; his brothers, Benny Walker, John Walker; his sisters, Nina Owens, Linda Walker, Teresa Walker, Cynthia Sanford, Edna Blanks.
Robert is preceded in death by his parents; his brothers, Jesse Walker, and Reverend Curtis Gilbert.
Funeral service will be on Wednesday, December 20th, 2017, beginning at 10:00am at Heritage Funeral Home in Fort Stockton, Texas.
