Kim Hammond White,63, passed away on November 6 ,2023 at her home in Fort Stockton, Texas.

Visitation will be held on Friday, November 10, 2023, at Heritage Funeral Home of The Big Bend 301 N. Main Street Fort Stockton, Texas from 1:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 11, 2023, at 10:00 am at Heritage Funeral Home of The Big Bend with Pastor Kevin Johnson of the Apostolic Tabernacle officiating. Burial to follow at East Hill Cemetery Fort Stockton, Texas.

Kim Hammond White was born in Pecos, Texas to Jack and Charlotte Hammond on October 20, 1960. She was a successful, self-made businesswomen that owned/ operated Circle N East for over 15 Years. Kim was well known for her proclivity for conversation and would spend hours visiting with family and friends . She had a huge heart for her family and others, always making herself available for those in need. Kim was an avid collector with varying interests. She had a special love for animals and was devoted to her dogs. She grew up riding motorcycles and enjoyed the outdoors. One of her most prized possessions was the motorcycle from her youth, a Husqvarna 250 of which she was very proud of. She will be dearly missed by those who knew her.

Kim is Preceded in death by her late husband Tom Thornton and parents Jack and Charlotte Hammond. Kim is survived by her son Vandon Ray and wife Ashley of Lubbock, Texas , Grandchildren Brooklyn Ray and Braxton Ray of Lubbock, Texas, Her step son Thomas Boothe and wife Tabatha, sisters Kelly Dilbeck and husband David of Odessa, Texas, Jackie Commer and husband Gerald of Lubbock, Texas, nieces Ashley Hamilton of Fort Stockton, Texas, Shellie Coomer Hale and husband Brandon of Lubbock, Texas, Nephews Kevin Coomer of Lubbock, Texas, Devin Hamilton and wife Sarah of Fort Stockton, Texas and Steven Hamilton and wife Emily of New Braunfels, Texas.

Pallbearers Devin Hamilton, Steven Hamilton, Gerald Coomer, Kevin Coomer, Brandon Hale, Edgar Espinal and Bryan Lee Rivera.
