Jose T. Jurado (Tango),70 of Fort Stockton, Texas passed away on November 20, 2023, in Artesia, New Mexico.

Viewing for Jose (Tango) Jurado will be Sunday, November 26, 2023, from 2:00pm to 8:00pm at Heritage Funeral Home of The Big 301 N. Main Street Fort Stockton, Texas.  Second visitation will be Monday, November 27,2023. Prayer Service will be Monday, November 27, 2023, at Heritage Funeral Home of the Big Bend at 7:00 pm. Funeral mass will be held Tuesday, November 28,2023. at 11:00 am at Templo Agua Viva 1009 Hwy 285 Fort Stockton, Texas with Pastor Vincent Cabello in Fort Stockton, Texas with Burial will follow at Balmorhea Cemetery.

Jose T. Jurado (Tango) was born in Toyahvale, Texas to Trinidad and Olivia Jurado on June 11, 1953. He attended school at Balmorhea ISD then married Maria Isabel Jurado who later gained her wings. Jose worked for Reeves County Feeders for 21 years as a cowboy foreman then went on to work for Longfellow ranchers as a heavy equipment operator for 8 years. Jose T. Jurado (Tango) is proceeded in death by his Father Trinidad M. Jurado and Mother Olivia T. Jurado, Son Jose Jurado Jr., Brothers Raymond Jurado and Manuel T. Jurado.

 Jose T. Jurado (Tango) is survived by his companion of many years Olga Ramos, his children Josie (Juan) Ramos of Dallas, Texas, Marlene Jurado of Balmorhea, Texas., Jose Luis (Jolo) Jurado (Krystal) of Grand Falls, Texas., Trena (Alexa) Jurado of Balmorhea, Texas., Destiny Jurado of Imperial, Texas., Jobey Jurado of Imperial, Texas, Jose Luis Ramos Jr. (Amber) of Fort Stockton, Texas., Marina Villarreal (Hector) Of Lake Jackson, Texas., Brothers Juan (Shine) Diane Jurado of Odessa, Texas., sisters Tencha (Timoteo) Olivas of Fort Stockton, Texas., Ellie Lopez of College Station, Texas., Delma Jurado of Odessa, Texas. Jose was also blessed with 15 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.

Pallbearers include Jimmy Dominguez, Jaime Tarango, T.J Garcia, Thomas Tarango, Joe Prieto, Raymond Jurado, Manuel Jurado and Angel Anchondo Dutchover.

Honorary Pallbearers include Marco Antonio Ramos, Jackie Jurado, Jaden Jurado and Jose Luis Ramos Sr.
