Jordyn Benavides

Jordyn Anae Benavides of Fort Stockton passed away Thursday, April 28, 2016, in Fort Stockton at the age of 6 months. Our princess, Jordyn Anae Benavides, was born in the afternoon of October 13th, 2015. In her short-far too short-life, she brought much joy to so many people. Her beautiful smile and chubby cheeks brought smiles to everyone who saw her. Our "Jordy-poo" is an angel in heaven too soon.
Jordyn is survived by her mother and father, Arielle Pacheco and Joshua A. Benavides; her brother, Joshua Aaron Benavides; grandparents, Ralph Sanchez wife Anabel, Frank Lacy wife Carol, Tony Acosta wife Analda, and Javier Leyva; her great grandparents, Velia Pacheco, Manuel Benavides, Antonio Acosta, and Rafael Sanchez and wife Corina; her uncles, Rafael Sanchez, Josh Vizcaino, Zach Leyva, and Zekeil Leyva; her aunts, Courtney Munoz, Maritza Sanchez, and Zuriah Leyva; her Godparents, Larry Leyva wife Deborah.
Jordyn is preceded in death by her great-grandparents, Vicente Pacheco, Manuel Benavides wife Carolina, Antonio Acosta wife Lasara and great great grandmother, Luisa Dominguez.
Visitation will be on Sunday, May 1st, 2016, from 1-7pm at Heritage Funeral Home in downtown Fort Stockton. Funeral service will begin at 10am on May 2nd, 2016 at Northside Baptist Church in Fort Stockton with Pastor Scott Owens officiating. Burial will be at the Fort Stockton Catholic Cemetery in Fort Stockton.
