James Ivy

James W. Ivy Jr. of Fort Stockton passed away Sunday July 10th, 2016, in Monahans at the age of 81 years. James was born on August 14th, 1934, to James W. Ivy Sr. and Gladys Williams Ivy in Aspertmont, Texas. He went to Amarillo Barber School in 1956. In June 1960, he moved to Fort Stockton and became a member of FS Lodge, First Christian Church, and got married to Doris J. McGill.
James is survived by son, James W. Ivy III; his daughters, Lori Dean, and Toye Ivy; his stepdaughter, Karen Klassen of Utah; his beloved brother, BA and wife Ada Ivy; seven granddaughters, two great granddaughters, and one great grandson; nieces, nephews, and cousins.
James is preceded in death by his wife, Doris J. McGill; and his parents, James W. Ivy Sr. and Gladys Williams Ivy.
Graveside service will begin at 10:00am on Wednesday, July 13th, 2016, at East Hill Cemetery, Ernie Waggoner will be officiating.
