Jaime De La Torre Maldonado of Fort Stockton, Texas passed away on December 07, 2022, in El Paso, Texas.
Visitation will be on Monday December 12, 2022, at Heritage Funeral Home of the Big Bend 301 N. Main Fort Stockton, Texas at 12:00pm – 6:00pm. Rosary will be at 6:00pm also at Heritage Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, December 13, 2022, at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church 401 N. Main St. Fort Stockton, Texas. Burial will follow at Fort Stockton Catholic Cemetery. Arrangements are by Heritage Funeral Home of the Big Bend.
Jaime was born in Mexico to Martin De La Torre and Nemoria Maldonado on July 23, 1965. He married Maria Ramos on November 17,2008 in Fort Stockton, Texas and worked as a roustabout for D&L Services for about two years. Jaime will be remembered as the hardworking man he was. Never was there a moment when he was not willing to lend his hand whether it came to yard work, garage sales, taking care of his great grandchild or for the simplest ask of help. He was a good man who spent his final days with his wife who he cared for deeply. His big appetite will be remembered for he loved sharing meals with his family.
Jaime is preceded in death by his father Martin De La Torre.
Jaime is survived by his wife Maria Ramos, four sisters, one brother, his mother Nemoria Maldonado, four step children, seven grandchildren, and one great grandchild.
Pallbearers will be Luis Lopez, Gus Lopez, Raul Lopez, Derek Leyva, Julian Leyva, Allan Leyva, Julio Leyva, and Rodolfo Encinas
