Jaime Gonzales Galvan

Jaime Gonzales Galvan was born on January 7, 1955 in Andrews, Texas and passed away peacefully in Midland, Texas.

In his personal life, Jaime was deeply connected to the people around him. He remained close to his cousins throughout his life and had friends scattered across West Texas who knew they could always count on him. In his younger years, he found joy in drag racing and spent countless hours working on cars, a skill and passion that stayed with him. He was an eternal cowboy at heart, rarely seen without his black cowboy hat, Wranglers, and boots. Jaime loved to tease his family, and the nicknames he gave his children and grandchildren have become part of the family's language, still used with affection today. A skilled heavy equipment operator, he could handle any machine with confidence and precision. He also cherished the time he spent gambling with his late mother and sisters, moments filled with laughter and memories that stayed with him.

He is survived by his devoted sons, Jaime Galvan, Jr. of Odessa, Florencio Rene Galvan of Odessa, and Carlos and Sonya Galvan of Andrews; his loving daughters, Angela and Jamie Galvan Galindo of Austin, Monica Galvan and Melquiadez Dominguez of Midland, and Kristen Eccleston and Justin Hammel of Vancouver, Washington; his cherished sisters, Yolanda and Mauro Lopez and Rosemary and Samuel Lopez; his beloved grandchildren, Jonathan Colt Galvan, Hayley Cravens, Jordan Carrasco, Nevaeh Galvan, Marc Carrasco, Charlize Galvan, Ethanial Galvan, Jeremiah Rodriguez, Zackarie Rodriguez, Melquiadez Dominguez, Kendall Dominguez, and Madeline Dominguez; and his precious great grandchildren, Everlye Villa and Ethanial Galvan, Jr. He is also remembered with love by the many nieces and nephews who held a special place in his heart.

Jaime is preceded in death by his parents F.M. and Maria Galvan and sister Viola Galvan.
