Homer Montez

Homar Carrillo born April 30, 1947 in Fort Stockton, Texas passed away January 3, 2018. Homar attended Sunset School of Preaching and taught in Friona, Texas before moving to Fort Stockton. Homar is preceded in death by Macedonio and Candelaria Montez Carrillo, Alfredo Carrillo, and Gloria Aguilar.
Homar is survived by his children: Nancy Quintella from Fort Stockton, Texas, Sammy Carrillo from Virginia Beach, Virginia, Timothy Ray Carrillo from Carlsbad, New Mexico, and Denise Carrillo from Fort Stockton, Texas, fifteen grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren, sisters: Melinda Badillo from Vega, Texas, Ida Casias from Fort Stockton, Texas, and Adam Carrillo from Hobbs, New Mexico.
Viewing will be held at Church of Christ on Monday beginning at 9:00 a.m. on January 8, 2018. Funeral service will follow at 11:00 a.m. January 8, 2018, and burial will follow at East Hill Cemetery. Ruben Salinas is officiating. Arrangements are by Heritage Funeral Home in Fort Stockton, Texas.
