Herlinda Carrasco

Herlinda Carrasco of Odessa passed away Friday July 14th, 2017, in Odessa at the age of 91 years. Herlinda was born on September 26, 1925, to Cruz Tarango and Gumecinda Barragan in Valentine, Texas.
Her life was enriched by the time she gave to her brothers and sister. Herlinda was a kind and sweet aunt to many nieces and nephews, great nieces and great nephews. She spent many days working and caring for many family members. Many will remember her as a beautiful and kind woman. She left many memories with her family and friends.
Herlinda is survived by her numerous nieces and nephews.
Herlinda is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Antonio Carrasco; her brothers, Enrique Tarango, Eduardo Tarango; and her sister, Enedina Tarango Olivas.
Visitation will be on Monday, July 17th, 2017, from 11-8pm at Heritage Funeral Home in Van Horn, Texas. Funeral service will be on Tuesday, July 18th, 2017, beginning at 10:00am at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Valentine, Texas. Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery in Valentine, Texas.
