Henry Castelo

Enrique Henry Castelo, age 89, passed away on Friday, November 29, 2013 in Fort Stockton, Texas. He was born July 23, 1924 to Antonio and Maria Castelo in Fort Stockton. He married Lillian Rodriguez Hernandez October 16, 1948. He soon after served our nation in the Navy. He worked in dry cleaning most of his life. He was a member of Saint Josephs Catholic Church were he served as greeter and usher. He was also an active member of the VFW, GI Forum, and American Legion. Henry was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. He is deeply loved and will be greatly missed.
He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Lillian Castelo daughter, Gloria Espino and husband Manuel three grandchildren, Ydolina Maria Espino, Rumalda Berry and husband Josh, Manuel Enrique Espino and wife Roianne seven great grandchildren, Jazmine, Griffin, Camryn, Aidan, Jadon, Katarina, Zarek two brothers, Juan Castelo, Mike Castelo two sisters Elisa Esparza and husband Manuel, Rita Castelo and lots of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father and mother 6 sisters, Maria Elidia Acosta, Juanita Salmon, Guadalupe Urias, Josephina Grado, Olivia Cordero, Elodia Carrillo and brother Andres Castelo.

A visitation will take place at Heritage Funeral Home from 2:00 pm. 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 1, 2013 with rosary following at 7:00 p.m. His funeral will be at 11 a.m. Monday, December 2, 2013 at St. Josephs Catholic Church with Monsignor James P. Bridges officiating. Burial will follow at St. Josephs Cemetery.
