Guadalupe Sanchez

Guadalupe Hernandez "Lupe" Sanchez of Fort Stockton passed away Friday July 8th, 2016, in Fort Stockton at the age of 81 years. Lupe was born on May 25th, 1935, to Antonio and Refugia Sanchez in Fort Stockton, Texas. He was a member of the Catholic Church. He enjoyed watching his great grandkids play sports. He retired from FSISD after thirty-six years of employment. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather.
Lupe is survived by his wife, Ida Sanchez; his daughters, Melba Sanchez from Midland, Norma Sanchez from Fort Stockton, Nelda Sanchez Baiza and husband Lionel Baiza from Odessa; his grandchildren, Ema Sanchez and husband Efrain Acosta, Anthony Chavarria, Darien Baiza, Drey Baiza, Daylen Baiza; his great grandchildren, Ethan Acosta, Evian Acosta, Enayelli Acosta, and Eden Acosta.
Lupe is preceded in death by his parents, Antonio and Refugia Sanchez; his brothers, Jesus Sanchez, Felix Sanchez; his sisters Juana Rodriguez, and Manuela Sanchez.
Visitation will be on Sunday July 10th from 11-7pm at Heritage Funeral Home in Fort Stockton, Texas. Rosary will begin at 7pm on Sunday, July 10th, 2016. Funeral service will begin at 10:00am on July 11th, 2016, at St. Agnes Catholic Church in Fort Stockton, Texas. Burial will be at Fort Stockton Catholic Cemetery in Fort Stockton, Texas.
