Enrique Fuentes

Enrique M. Fuentes, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend, passed away peacefully on July 30, 2025. He was 87 years old.

Born to Alberto and Octavia Fuentes, Enrique was preceded in death by his parents, his son Enrique "Henry" Fuentes, and his siblings Rita Fuentes Gonzales, Jose "Pepe" Fuentes, Carmen Fuentes, Amelia Fuentes Sanchez, Octavia "Tavita" Rodriguez, Francisco "Pancho" Fuentes, Arturo Fuentes. He leaves behind his loving wife, Natalia Fuentes, and their children: Sylvia (Ray) Mesa, Rosela (Kenny) Johnson, Patsy (Cruz) Herrera, Jaime Fuentes, and Steve (Millie) Fuentes.

Enrique’s legacy will live on through his brother, Alberto Fuentes, Jr., 18 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren, who will forever cherish the love, wisdom, and laughter he brought into their lives.

A proud truck driver, Enrique had the opportunity to travel across the country, experiencing its beauty and diversity. He also found joy in fishing, an activity that brought him peace and contentment.

A dedicated sports fan, Enrique was a lifelong supporter of the Dallas Cowboys and Texas Rangers. He had an unwavering passion for his teams, and his family and friends will always remember his enthusiasm and spirited cheers.

Enrique’s legacy was one of hard work, generosity, and love. His strong work ethic, infectious optimism, and kindness touched everyone who knew him. He will be deeply missed but never forgotten.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 30, 2025, at 10:00 AM to 7:00PM, followed by a Rosary at 7:00pm. A Mass will be held at 2:00 PM on August 1, 2025. Burial to follow at St Joseph Cemetery following the service.
