Darrell Tibbitts

Darrell B. Tibbitts of Fort Stockton passed away Monday May 9, 2016, in Fort
Stockton at the age of 70 years. Darrell was born on August 3, 1945, to Irene and Joseph Tibbitts in Cortez, Colorado.
Darrell was an amazing, loveable man. Full of Christ, he wanted to help everyone he knew. Besides being an extraordinary handyman, he was an even better brother, husband, and father. He married Celia Jo Patterson on February 24, 1973.
Darrell is survived by his wife Celia; his son Donnie Tibbitts and wife Gayla, of Brookesmith; his daughters Elizabeth McKee and husband Jay of Odessa, Patty Rhine of San Angelo, Christy Martin of Houston, Mary Ramos and husband Matt of League City; his twin sister Cheryl John and her husband Kyle of Kirtland, NM; his brother Bob and wife Hallie of Moab, UT; His thirteen grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
Darrell is preceded in death by his parents, Irene and Joseph Tibbitts.
The memorial service will be on Thursday, May 12th, 2016, at Emmanuel Baptist Church. Rev. Gary Dunn will be officiating.
