Cory Hodges

Cory Brandon Hodges of Troy, Texas went home to our Heavenly Father on Sunday, December 17, 2017 at the age of 41 years old. He was born September 8, 1976 in Fort Stockton, Texas to Richard Lee Hodges and Pamela Ann Eaton.
Cory was a very proud active father. He loved his family and friends and was always ready to lend a helping hand. There wasn't anything Cory couldn't fix and he took pride in being our go to, to get it done.
Cory is survived by his amazing children that were the light of his life and his pride and joy. Wendi-Kay Marie Warren-Hodges of Fort Worth, Garrett Lee Hodges and Mason Finley Hodges of Troy. By his loving mother, Pamela Hodges Dempsey; his sister, Kyrissa Hodges Parsons; his brother-in-law, Perry Parsons; his nieces, Hannah Dale Parsons, Shelby LeeAnn Parsons, Piper Emery Parsons; his nephew, Sutton Miller Carroll Parsons; his grandfather, Truett Miller Eaton; aunt, Shauna Vick; uncle, Charles Vick; aunt, Gayla Hodges Satterfield; uncle, Tim Satterfield; aunts, DeAndra Eaton Mooney, Carol Eaton Parker; uncles, Scott Mooney, Clayton Parker; uncle, Dale Eaton; and many cousins, Great aunts and uncles, and tons of friends that he loved with all his heart. Cory's one of a kind ornery grin and his playful antics will be greatly missed by all that knew him. His legacy will live on in his beautiful children.
Cory was preceded in death by his dad, Richard Lee Hodges; his stepdad, Dwain Dempsey; his grandparents, Billy and Radean Hodges; grandmother, Mary Lou Eaton; uncle, Darrell Eaton; and cousin, David Jay Eaton.
Funeral service will be on Wednesday, December 27, 2017, beginning at 1:00pm at Heritage Funeral Home in Fort Stockton, Texas. Burial will follow at East Hill Cemetery, Fort Stockton, Texas.
