Bernardina "Nina" Garcia

Bernardina "Nina" Garcia passed away on July 11, 2025, in El Paso, Texas, at the age of 60. She was born on June 28, 1965, in Zacatecas, Mexico.

Bernardina was a caregiver and homemaker. She was passionate about gardening and crocheting.

Bernardina is preceded in death by her parents Guadalupe and Ramiro Avila, her sister Leticia and brother Ramiro Avila Jr.

She is survived by her four children Juan Bernardo "JB" (Viri) Garcia, Jaqueline (Emmanuel) Delarosa, Juan Ricardo (Jasmine) Garcia and Jose Alberto (Ingrid) Garcia. Also, by her grandchildren Aileen, Jocelynn and Sophia Garcia, Luca

Delarosa, Richie, Evie, and Aria Garcia.

Pallbearers serving will be JB Garcia, Juan Ricardo Garcia, Jose Alberto Garcia, Emmanuel Delarosa, Juan Garcia.

Visitation will be held on Monday, July 21, 2025, from 11 :00am - 8:00 pm with a Holy Rosary to be held at 7:00pm at Heritage Funeral Home of the Big Bend.

Funeral Mass will take place on Tuesday, July 22, 2025, at 2:00 pm at St. Josephs Catholic Church with burial to follow at Fort Stockton Catholic Cemetery.
