Aniceto Robles Nuñez of Fort Stockton, Texas passed away Sunday, March 4th, 2018, in Fort Stockton, Texas at the age of 93 years. He was born on April 17th, 1924, in Fort Stockton, Texas to Encarnacion Nunez and Margarita Robles. He served his country as a Master Sargent in the U.S. Army, and was a member of the G.I. Forum, Knights of Columbus, Holy Name Society, Sonic Baseball, Democratic Party, and the Firestone Bowling League and was a loyal fan of the Houston Astros and the Dallas Cowboys.
Aniceto is survived by his son, Amado Rafael Nunez; daughters, Mariana Nunez, Irma Rubio, Mary Margaret Hinojos, his 7 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren
Aniceto is preceded in death by his parents and his wife Agueda Gonzales Nunez.
The Pall Bearers will be Natalio Arcides, Carlos Nunez, Edward Nunez, Cosmito N. Granado, Ralph Hernandez, and Jimmy Hernandez.
Visitation will be on Wednesday, March 7th, 2018, from 2-7pm with rosary beginning 7pm at Heritage Funeral Home in Fort Stockton, Texas. Funeral service will be on Thursday, March 8th, 2018, beginning at 2pm at St Joseph Catholic Church in Fort Stockton, Texas with Father Serafin officiating. Burial will follow at Fort Stockton Catholic Cemetery.
