It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Alfred Gosselin, a cherished husband, father, and esteemed member of the Fort Stockton community, who departed this world peacefully on April 23, 2026, at the age of 86. Born on January 3, 1940, in Michigan, Alfred spent his life as a dedicated general contractor, carving out beauty in wood and constructing homes that became warm havens for many families.
Alfred was not only known for his exceptional skill in construction but also for his unwavering commitment to the Jehovah ministry, where he found profound joy in serving his faith and community. His love for life extended beyond his profession; he had a passion for culinary adventures, with a special fondness for Mexican cuisine alongside his beloved wife.
In 1992, Alfred married Anita Gosselin, and together they traveled extensively, creating timeless memories and treasures that will be cherished forever by their son, Raymond. Their remarkable bond was a testament to true partnership, marked by laughter, joy, and adventure.
A celebration of Alfred's life will be held on April 25, 2026, at 11:00 AM at Heritage Funeral Home of the Big Bend Chapel. Family and friends are invited to join in honoring a life well-lived - a man who built not only structures but also strong foundations in the hearts of those he loved.
Alfred is survived by his loving wife, Anita Gosselin, son Andrew Gosselin, step son Raymond Ramerez, and step daughter Adele Payne.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions be made to the Jehovah's Witnesses ministry in Alfred's name, reflecting his passion for service and devotion to his community. As we gather to celebrate Alfred's bountiful life, we embrace his legacy of love, craftsmanship, and faith that will forever inspire all who knew him.
