Anahi Granado

Anahi Leliene Vizcarra Granado was born August 30, 2007 to Rosana Vizcarra. Anahi entered the gates of heaven June 11, 2019 at the very tender age of 11.
Tragedy took Anahi's mother from her in May of 2015, Anahi and her brother Alex came to live with Angela Granado Lujan and her two sons, Avan and Angel. The Granado family celebrated their official adoption September 2016. Anahi had three brothers, Alex, Avan and Angel. She also had 3 other siblings, Nina, Jovani and Jomari that she loved very much.
Anahi was a member of the First Baptist Church and was an active member of the youth group. She loved God with her whole heart and joyfully shared her love with others. She recently participated in leading VBS and had fully accepted Jesus as her personal Savior.
Music was her passion and she had dreams of attending Performing Arts School to pursue a performance career. Her favorite band was BTS and she even taught herself to read and write in Korean. She entertained her family often by singing their songs in Korean.
Anahi was a dedicated student who always strived to do her best. This upcoming 2019-2020 school year she was to have been part of the FSMS cheerleaders. She had made Symphonic Band and would have been in the Middle School Choir. To end her 6th grade year, Anahi received recognition as Outstanding 6th Grade Cornet Player, Outstanding 6th Grade Girls PE Student, A-B Honor Roll for the entire 2018-2019 school year and had been recognized as Outstanding 6th Grade Girl for the 2nd 6 Weeks. All these honors exemplify her outgoing personality and active life.
Her sense of humor was one of a kind. She was very friendly, caring and kind. She always made sure people were included and knew that they were important. She has been described as "my backbone", the strong one who kept everyone going. She had many loving friends who also felt her love.
Anahi is survived by her mother Angela, her three brothers Alex, Avan and Angel. She is also survived by Joe and Leesa Granado, her Granny and Sugar, her uncle Joe Daniel Granado and his wife Jordan, their son Saxton and her aunt Alaina Granado. She is also survived by her grandmother Carmen Vizcarra, her uncle Fido Guzman and aunt Barbara Vasquez and her other siblings Nina, Jovani and Jomari.

Funeral Arrangements:
Visitation will be at Heritage Funeral Home on Sunday, June 16, 2019 from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM. Funeral Services will be on Monday, June 17, 2019 at the First Baptist Church in Fort Stockton at 1:00PM. Officiating will be Pastor Warren Camp.
