Abdon Armendariz

Abdon Leon Armendariz passed away Sunday, August 9, 2015, in Odessa at the age of 76 years. Abdon was born on July 30, 1939, in Mexico to Guadalupe Armendariz and Maria Leon. He worked all his life as a farmer and rancher and in the oil fields of West Texas.
Abdon is survived by his wife Luz De La Rocha Armendariz; two sons Gilbert and Victor Armendariz; two daughters, Luz Maria Taylor and Maricela Deberry; sister, Anastacia Armendariz Camacho; three grandchildren, Joby Baeza, Tevin Christopher Baeza, and MaKenzy Deberry.
Abdon was preceded in death by his father Guadalupe Armendariz and his mother Maria Leon.
Visitation will be on Tuesday August 11th, 2015 from 11a.m. to 7p.m. at Heritage Funeral Home in downtown Fort Stockton. Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday night. A Mass of Christian burial will take place on Wednesday morning, August 12th, 2015, starting at 10:30 a.m., at St. Agnes Catholic Church in Fort Stockton. Burial will follow at Fort Stockton Catholic Cemetery.
